Do you have an experience of buying too much food because of the discount, and the food turns bad after storing for too long as a result creating a waste? Be a smart consumer starting from today! Only buy the amount that you need, save your money and protect the environment!

"Best before or Use by?”

"Best before” refers to the date that the food is in the best quality, but it does not mean that the food will expire or affect the consumers’ health. "Use by” means if the food passed that date, it has to be thrown away immediately; it is capable for the food which easily turns bad. Pay attention to the date, and do not throw away the food in mistake and create waste.

"No food wastage”

There are many leftovers that are preventable or can be recycled. For example the fruit peel can make the environmental friendly cleansing enzyme. And the fresh of the fruit can make low sugar jam. Think more and use your creativity, you can turn the leftovers into delicacy.

"Sharing”

If there is excess food in your home, you should share them with your neighbour as early as possible, especially the people in need, or donating the food to the food bank or food recycling organisations, reduce waste and help others!
